How to Apply for a New Electricity Connection Online
Standard operating procedure approved by NEPRA for Category 1 (up to 15 kW) residential connections.
Open ENC Portal & Select DISCO
Go to enc.com.pk. Click on Apply and select your respective electricity company (e.g. FESCO, LESCO, MEPCO).
Provide Neighbor's Reference Number (Crucial)
Enter an existing neighbor's 14-digit electricity bill reference number. The system automatically fetches your exact sub-division, grid station, and local distribution feeder.
Select Connection Category & Load
Choose Category 1 for domestic residences (up to 15 kW load). Select Single Phase (typically 1–5 kW for general homes) or Three Phase (typically 5–15 kW for heavy load / multiple air conditioners).
Upload Scanned Documents
Upload clear scanned copies (max 300 KB each) of your CNIC, proof of property ownership (Registry / Fard / Allotment Letter), and Wiring Contractor Test Form.
Print Application & Submit to SDO Office
Print out the generated application form, sign it, and submit one physical set of attested documents to your local Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) office.
Site Verification & Demand Notice Issuance
A DISCO surveyor/lineman visits your premises within 7–10 days to check wire distance to the transformer. Once approved, your Demand Notice is uploaded to the portal and notified via SMS.
Pay Demand Notice & Meter Installation
Pay the Demand Notice at the designated bank (NBP, MCB, Allied, etc.). Submit the paid bank copy to the SDO office. The meter installation order (Service Order) is issued within 5–10 working days.

Property Ownership Proof
Attested copy of Registry, Fard Malkiat, Allotment Letter, or Sale Deed.
Applicant's CNIC
Attested photocopy of valid Computerized National Identity Card.
Witnesses CNIC (2 Persons)
Photocopies of CNIC from two neighbors or relatives acting as witnesses.
Neighbor's Paid Electricity Bill
Latest paid bill copy from adjacent premises for verification.
Wiring Test Report
Signed certificate from an authorized electrical wiring contractor.
Affidavit / Stamp Paper (If Tenant)
No Objection Certificate (NOC) on ₨100 stamp paper if applying on rented property.
Estimated Demand Notice Fee Structure (2026)
Official standard costs determined by NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority). Exact costs depend on service wire length from the pole.
