How to Check Your Feeder Name & Outage Status

Every electricity connection in Pakistan is supplied through an 11 kV feeder. If your area experiences a power outage, your feeder name allows you to check whether it is scheduled maintenance or an unscheduled trip:

  1. Look at your monthly paper bill or duplicate online bill.
  2. In the consumer details box, find the field labeled "Feeder Name" (e.g. Model Town Feeder, Karkhano Feeder).
  3. Visit your company's MIS or customer service portal (or call 118) to check whether that specific feeder is undergoing scheduled maintenance.
