The goal of the Hurford Youth Leadership Exchange Program is to develop participants’ leadership abilities. Participants in the Hurford Youth Fellowship Program will take part in strategic meetings, do research, organize and deliver presentations, and share information. There should be no one older than 30 years old among the participants. The Participants Will Reside in Washington, DC for the Entire Duration of the Program Which Is Three Months. Financial Benefits:
The Hurford Youth Fellowship Program 2023 is an International Youth Exchange Program that is Completely Funded by the Program. The Fellowship will pay for all of your expenses over the entirety of the Program, including things like the following:
- Allowance paid every month to help cover basic living costs
- Fellows are supplied with a Fully Equipped Office, including Internet and Email Access, as well as a Limited Budget for
- Fellowship-Related Long-Distance Phone Calls. Health Insurance Round Trip Air Travel Tickets to and from Washington, D.C.
Note: Applicants should keep in mind that the cost of living in the Washington metropolitan region is very high (housing, furniture, food, and other important living expenditures), and that fellowship stipends are not designed to fulfill the financial requirements of a family.
- If a fellow wishes to bring family members with them to Washington, D.C., they will be responsible for covering the costs of their dependents’ travel within the United States as well as their round-trip airfare within the country. In most cases, the program will not pay for the costs that are associated with providing health insurance for dependents. Please be aware that in order to enter the United States on a J-2 dependent visa, all accompanying dependents will be required to hold at least the most fundamental form of health insurance coverage for the entirety of their trip.

Do you have some fantastic ideas on how democracy might be promoted in the community where you live? Are you prepared to develop your abilities as a leader? Would you be interested in interacting with other influential young people from other parts of the world?
- Young democratic advocates from all around the world are encouraged to apply for the Hurford Youth Fellowship Program, which aims to develop their leadership abilities and help them realize their full potential.
- By participating in the Program, young activists are given the opportunity to spend three months at the Secretariat of the
- World Movement for Democracy. During this time, they have the opportunity to broaden their global connections, share their experiences with other democracy movement activists from around the world, and contribute to the development of the World Movement for Democracy and the World Youth Movement for Democracy.

Eligibility Criteria for Hurford Youth Fellowship:
