Samsung Galaxy S22 series now getting One UI 5.0 and Android 13
The Galaxy S22 series from Samsung is finally receiving the One UI 5.0 update, which is based on Android 13. The update has already gone live in most of Europe, though Samsung is, per usual, rolling it out in stages.
Approximately 2.8 GB in size, the update is for firmware version S90xBXXU2BVJA. Moreover, One UI 5.0 adds a number of new features and enhancements to the system in addition to the ones already present in Android 13.
Samsung published a detailed changelog outlining all of the updates and additions.
It’s worth noting that, at the moment, the update is only confirmed for Samsungs running the Exynos 2200 processor, though the Snapdragon variant should start receiving it any day now.
